Why Would Djokovic Defend his Grand Slam at Australian Open in 2013.

Riding on a great 2011, regarded as one of the best Seasons in Tennis History, Novak Djokovic entered 2012 with a Win at Mubadala Tennis Championship in December over David Ferrer giving him Confidence and Belief that he could defend his title at the Rod Laver Arena.
Here I Give you 4 Reasons Why Djokovic would defend his Grand Slam at Australian Open.

1. The Year End No. 1 in 2012...

Novak Djokovic started 2012 with being season ending World no. 1 and ended it on the same note after dropping to No. 2 to Federer for some time. It was the win at Barclays ATP World tour Final at London along with US open Finalist that gave Djokovic a comfortable lead of 2655 ATP points over Roger Federer.
It is this combined with the Defending Champion tag that will boost the chances of Novak Djokovic being crowned champion once again at Rod Laver Arena.

2. Nadal into Action after very Long Time...

The Nadal Djoker Rivalry attained new heights in 2011, as Djokovic Overcame Nadal as good as 7 times in the Finals of Major events including ATP 1000 Masters. Nadal being out of action for almost 6 months now, would have to be in full form to overcome a Motivated Djokovic. Nadal would go all out to pose a threat for the Title at Australian Open.
But It would be Djokovic, for that matter to defend his title at Rod Laver Arena as  he is vying for more and more grand slams.

3. Djokovic's Forte : Hard Courts

Out of the 16 ATP tournaments Djokovic played in 2012, he reached Finals of 11 Tournaments and Won 6 Of them, All on Hard Courts.
This along with the fact that he had 50 matches won on Hard Courts out of 55, which is almost 90.90% Matches won on Hard Courts. Djokovic has been consistent in being the Player with Most wins on Hard courts for 2 consecutive years. Roger Federer is distant second in terms of matces won on Hard courts in 2012, with 44 matches won out of 52 matches played, that is almost 84.61%.
After the US Open, Nole has won China Open, Shanghai Masters and the ATP World Tour Finals.
So Gaining momentum at the end of Season in 2012, Djokovic could prove to be lethal at Australian Open in 2013.

4. The Best Head to Head Stats...

Novak Djokovic compiled the Best Head to Head statstics for 2012 against the Top 10 players of the world. He is 24-10 (70.5%) against top 10 players whereas Roger Federer is 16-9 ( 64% ).
Also according to the stats Nole was 33-2 against Top 50 and 18-0 against players outside the Top 50.
Having a look into the Stats, it may look that there is No Stopping to Djoker from winning his 6th Carrer Grand Slam at the Australian Open next Year.

It would be very interesting to see the comeback of Rafael Nadal in 2013, after a long absence from the tour. The Fabulous Four had One Grand Slam a Piece in 2012, so considering this, it would be a Battle to Watch out for at the Upcoming Season in 2013..
